Caroline Josephine Dawson
Caroline Josephine Dawson is a corporate trainer with Fortress Intelligence. Formally trained in journalism, she is a Corporate Trainer/Facilitator, Keynote Speaker and a Learning & Development Consultant. She holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communication from NTU (Singapore) and has attained the Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) certification through the London Teacher Training College. She also teaches English as a foreign language. Caroline is an MBTI®, DISC Accredited Administrator, Enneagram and Lumina Spark/Emotion practitioner. As an ACTA certified WSQ trainer, she has worked with the Workforce Development Agency of Singapore to develop training content for the Employability Skills System. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Teesside (UK).

James Suresh
James Suresh is a corporate trainer with Fortress Intelligence, a PR consultant and bestselling author. The co-creator of Singapore’s comic icon ‘Mr. Kiasu’, he has also co-written a series of comic books and authored books on his military career. James specialises in Emotional Intelligence, Stress Management and Motivation and he is a certified EQ trainer with ‘Six Seconds Inc’ as well as a certified FISH philosophy trainer. An accredited PR Practitioner and a NIE certified teacher, James is also an NLP practitioner. Manjit is a trainer and consultant with Fortress Intelligence with more than 30 years’ of experience. Manjit specialises in Image and Personality Enhancement. She is actively involved in seminars and workshops for Social Development Services and Social Development Unit. DR. ZEE YING KIAT
Senior Consultant, Medical Oncology, Parkway Cancer Centre
Dr Zee received his medical degree with dual distinction from University College London. He was also a recipient of the Drummond Prize in Physiology. After being accepted as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom), Dr Zee worked at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London before completing specialist training in Medical Oncology at the National University Hospital, Singapore. He subsequently underwent fellowship training at The Christie Hospital and Paterson Institute for Cancer Research in Manchester, where his focus was on anti-cancer drug development. Before moving to his current practice, he was a Consultant Medical Oncologist at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore. He is well versed in general medical oncology and has a special interest in gastro-oesophageal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic and colorectal cancers.
DR. DENNIS KOH
Senior Consultant, General & Colorectal Surgeon, Mount Elizabeth Hospital
Dr Koh graduated from University of Nottingham, UK. Prior to obtaining his medical degrees, Dr Koh also took a year off and obtained a Bachelor in Medical Science. He furthered his medical education and embarked on his surgical training in Singapore. In 2005, he obtained his Master of Medicine in Surgery from National University of Singapore. He proceeded to complete his advance surgical training with Singapore General Hospital and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2009. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine (Surgery) of Singapore in the same year. Dr Koh has special interest in colorectal surgery and has performed numerous colon and rectal surgeries, both open and minimally invasive. He believes that each surgery should be adapted and tweaked to each individual patient’s unique case and situation with minimal impact on patient’s lifestyle. Among the repertoire of surgical techniques, Dr Koh offers laparoscopic (key-hole), single port surgery, robotic surgery and transanal endoscopic operation (TEO). Dr Koh is also adept in the field of Endoscopy (colonoscopy and gastroscopy).
Understanding Colorectal Cancer
In Singapore, colorectal cancer is the top cancer affecting men and the second most common cancer in women. Colorectal cancer may or may not cause symptoms immediately and if symptoms do arise, these may sometimes be mistaken for common bowel ailments. As such, it is important to understand the risk factors, screening & detection methods and treatment options for colorectal cancer.
